Privacy Policy

Simple Servers provides hosted game-server services and a browser-based control panel. For privacy requests, contact [email protected].

We collect the data needed to provide the service: email address, chosen plan, server name/description, selected server software/version, order status, payment identifiers, subscription status, provisioned server identifiers, connection address, visit logs, IP-derived location data, security logs, and admin audit events.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe Checkout and are not stored by SimpleServers.host. For new panel accounts, the password chosen during checkout is used to create the account and is not stored in plaintext; during hosted checkout it is held as short-lived encrypted data so provisioning can complete after Stripe confirms payment. Existing customers authenticate through the panel and their password is never requested by the order website.

We use customer data to create and manage orders, provision servers, reconcile Stripe payments and subscriptions, provide support, secure the platform, keep audit logs, and comply with legal/accounting obligations.

We use service providers only where needed to operate the service. Current processors may include Stripe for payments, Pelican for server-panel management, Cloudflare for routing/security, and Resend if transactional email is enabled.

The public website currently uses essential storage for theme preference, checkout/order draft recovery, and privacy-notice acknowledgement. We do not currently use advertising cookies. First-party operational analytics records page visits, IP address, referrer, browser user agent, and Cloudflare location headers when available. If optional marketing tools are added later, they should be introduced behind a separate consent choice.

If you arrive through a partner referral link (an address carrying ?ref=), we set two first-party cookies so the partner who referred you is credited if you later order: one holding the partner’s referral code and when you arrived, and one holding a random identifier for your browser. They are not shared with any third party and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Referral records are stored against a one-way hash of your email address rather than the address itself, and partners are never shown your name, email address, IP address, billing details, or our order identifiers.

Order, payment, subscription, and audit records are retained while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy accounting/legal requirements. Short-lived pending checkout credentials are deleted after successful provisioning or checkout expiry. Visit analytics are retained for the configured analytics retention period, currently defaulting to 90 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. EU/EEA users can read the dedicated GDPR and data rights page.
