Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Service
Simple Servers provides hosted game-server plans with automated provisioning, recurring billing, and access to a browser-based control panel. Service availability can depend on upstream providers, network conditions, payment status, and maintenance.
Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep services available, but downtime can happen because of planned maintenance, emergency repairs, network or upstream provider outages, hardware failure, software updates, abuse response, security work, or account and payment issues. Unless a separate written service level agreement says otherwise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. When we know about material maintenance or incidents, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate them and restore affected services promptly.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for using accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure, and ensuring that anyone you invite to your server follows these terms. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or server has been compromised.
Billing and cancellation
Plans are billed monthly through Stripe unless stated otherwise at checkout. Subscription status and cancellation are managed from your SimpleServers panel account when available. If a subscription is cancelled or remains unpaid after retries, the related service may be suspended or stopped.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for illegal activity, malware, credential theft, denial-of-service activity, unauthorized scanning, harassment, copyright infringement, or attempts to bypass resource limits or platform security. We may suspend or terminate services that create security, legal, abuse, or infrastructure risk.
Backups and data responsibility
Plans include backup slots as described on the site, but you remain responsible for maintaining copies of important worlds, files, plugins, and configuration. No hosting provider can guarantee that every customer file is recoverable in every failure scenario.
Minecraft and third-party software
Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. You are responsible for complying with the licenses and terms of any server software, plugins, mods, datapacks, or files you upload or run.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates should be reflected by a new Last updated date. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
